Mounting PC speakers on a desktop is a straightforward operation.
PC speakers make monitoring audio and watching content possible. Many modern monitors lack built-in speakers, necessitating externally mounted speakers. The process for mounting PC speakers on a desktop is, except in odd cases, standardized. Standard PC or laptop dock headphone jack outputs are all that's needed for stereo PC speakers. In addition, given the large variance in price from the low to the high end, desktop PC speakers are available for anyone, and for nearly any application.
Instructions
1. Access the rear of the PC tower or laptop. Locate the "Headphone" out jack, sometimes labeled with an icon depicting a set of headphones.
2. Plug the speaker that has the headphone or RCA jack into the headphone output jack on the PC, using the included 3.5mm or 3.5mm to RCA cable.
3. Plug the speaker link cable from the equipped speaker to the audio link jack on the other speaker.
4. Plug the AC power adapter into an available AC outlet or power strip.
