Though IBM uses different processors from model to model, Aptiva's had either an Intel or AMD processor.
Operating System
The first Aptiva models, released before Windows 95, featured Windows 3.1. Later models used Windows 95, 98 and Millennium Edition (ME).
Graphics
ATI supplied the graphics processors for the IBM Apriva computers. Most had some form of the ATI RAGE graphics card.
Varying Specs
With the Aptiva models spanning 1994 until 2001, when the line was replaced by the NetVista line, there were many specs that varied drastically by model. For example, RAM and hard drives differed, with some models offering 16 MB of RAM and others offering 512 MB.
