Fix Msi Wind Sound

MSI Wind laptop sound issues might involve an incompatible or out-of-date driver. Older drivers cause audio glitches or the sound to shut off entirely. After letting Windows automatically update your audio device's hardware, disable the audio device. Disabling the device will refresh the sound controller and help load the new driver settings. The worst case scenario: broken speakers or a fried onboard sound chip.

Instructions

1. Click the "Start" button and then type "Device Manager" in the search box. Click the "Device Manager" shortcut.

2. Click the "Sound, game and video controllers" heading to expand the drop-down list.

3. Right-click on your audio device and click the "Update Driver Software..." option from the menu. Click the "Search automatically for updated driver software" button and Windows will automatically search for the latest driver on the Internet.

4. Right-click your sound device and then select the "Disable" option from the menu. Right-click the sound device once more and then click the "Enable" option to try and reset the hardware.
