Get An Adobe Reader To Read A Dvd

If Autoplay is enabled, reading documents from a DVD may be as simple as inserting a DVD into the computer.

The Adobe Acrobat Reader is a free program that enables users to open and view PDF (Portable Document Format) files. PDF files are a common digital document format widely used for manuals and other documents stored on a CD or DVD disc. Manually read documents from a DVD disc using Adobe Acrobat Reader when the DVD drive is not configured for autoplay and so does not open PDF documents automatically.

Instructions

1. Place a DVD disc in the CD/DVD drive of a computer that has Adobe Acrobat Reader installed.

2. Open the Adobe Acrobat Reader program. Click the "Open" icon (it looks like a folder with an arrow above it) located just below the "File" menu toward the top of the "Adobe Acrobat Reader" window.

3. Navigate to the DVD drive in the browser window that appears. Click on a PDF file located on the DVD disc.

4. Click the "Open" button and the Adobe Acrobat Reader program will read the "PDF" file from the DVD and display the contents of the file on the computer screen.
