The HP Pavilion is a desktop computer produced and manufactured by Hewlett Packard. When using the computer you may have several hard drives connected, both internally and externally. Each hard drive has its own specifications, running speed and saved content. If you want to know information about your hard drive you can find out with only a few clicks of your mouse.
Instructions
1. Click the "Start" button on your desktop than either "Computer" or "My Computer" (depending on the operating system you are running).
2. Right-click the hard drive you want to know information about. A pull-down menu now loads onto your screen.
3. Select "Properties." A new hard drive properties window loads. In the "General" tab you can see the amount of free space you have and the total size of the hard drive.
4. Click "Hardware" and the exact name and manufacture type of the hard drive appears. Select "Properties" under this tab, then select "Driver" and the driver information appears regarding the hard drive.
