Install Sis Files On A Nokia E71

.Sis files can enhance and personalize phones.

Using .sis files will enable various features on your phone, and some of these features will increase the convenience of your phone, especially in a time of crisis. You can also add themes and games that will enhance your phone. PC Suite is a convenient program that can maneuver through many of the functions of your phone--including transferring and installing .sis files from your computer directly to your phone.

Instructions

1. Download your .sis files from any given site onto your Desktop (or any other place on your computer where the file can easily be found).

2. Download PC Suite from the disc that came with your phone. If you do not have access to this disc, download this software from the Nokia's homepage.

3. Saving these settings will help prevent future problems with installing .sis files.

Disable certificate check on your phone: Go to "Menu">"Installation">"App. manager">"Options" and "Settings." At "Software installation," check "All." At "On-line certificate check," select "Off."

4. USB cords make it easy to transfer files to and from your computer.

Connect the smaller end of the USB cord to your phone and connect the larger end to your computer's USB slot. Select "PC Suite" mode when a small window on your phone's screen appears.

5. Open the PC Suite program on your computer. Drag your .sis file to a box that says "Drag -n- drop content here." Allow some time for the file to download and transfer to your phone.

6. Follow the instructions directed by your phone to install the file. After doing so, your file will be ready to use.
